indigo dresses

As usual, I have some work today before the market. I have 5 dresses that are in need of pockets. I seem to procrastinate on this step. I think it is because I don't really enjoy sewing on pockets, especially two that have to be lined up, equal on both sides, centered and by my standards....perfect.
I do, however, enjoy making these dresses. Pretty simple design. The fabric is a light weight denim which is so soft and comfy. The dress has an elastic neckline so it is good for breastfeeding. And then there are the pockets, of course.
I do like designing something other then aprons. Matt and I have discussed when he is finished with school
( one...more....year) that I do something for myself, academically, that is. I have been looking online at some fashion design courses that include pattern drafting which would come in handy. But for now, I'll just keep winging it.
